The Uzbek language is actively used in all spheres of our country's public life, and its prestige in the international arena is steadily growing. In foreign countries, special attention is paid to the Uzbek language, and interest in its study is increasing. Under these conditions, there is a need to improve the Uzbek alphabet based on the Latin script and spelling rules based on scientific research conducted by specialists in relevant fields.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This Law introduces amendments to the Law of the Republic of Uzbekistan \"On the Introduction of the Uzbek Alphabet Based on Latin Script,\" providing that the Uzbek alphabet based on Latin script shall consist of 28 letters and one sign (apostrophe) instead of 26 letters and 3 letter combinations.
