In recent years, large-scale work has been carried out in our country to ensure freedom of conscience, cherish and convey to future generations the values and traditions embodying the humanistic essence of the holy religion of Islam, strengthen the atmosphere of peace and tranquility, interethnic harmony and religious tolerance prevailing in our country, as well as provide comprehensive support to low-income, needy citizens and persons with disabilities. Such noble deeds are particularly evident during the holy month of Ramadan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
For the purpose of worthily welcoming and holding at a high level the month of Ramadan, which has been a symbol of kindness and mercy, generosity, and magnanimity for our people since ancient times: Take note of the information from the Muslim Board of Uzbekistan regarding the coincidence of the start of the holy month of Ramadan in 2025 with March 1.\u00a0The Council of Ministers of the Republic of Karakalpakstan, the khokimiyats of the regions and the city of Tashkent, together with the Committee on Religious Affairs, the National Agency for Social Protection, the \"Mahalla\" Association of Uzbekistan, the \"Nuroniy\" Foundation for Supporting the Public Activities of Veterans of Uzbekistan, and other partner organizations, shall implement measures to hold the month of Ramadan in the regions in accordance with national traditions and values.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In this blessed month, based on the idea that \"Ramadan is a month of generosity, unity, and magnanimity,\" special attention should be paid to: supporting initiatives to help needy people and young people striving for knowledge and enlightenment; strengthening family ties, strengthening the atmosphere of mutual understanding and trust in mahallas, and glorifying values such as showing respect, mercy, and humanity; protecting the environment, improving sacred places of pilgrimage and worship, cemeteries, planting saplings, and observing moderation and avoiding wastefulness in events related to the month of Ramadan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u00a0It is recommended that the National Television and Radio Company of Uzbekistan, the National Information Agency of Uzbekistan, and other mass media outlets widely cover events related to the celebration of the month of Ramadan. Control over the execution of this resolution shall be assigned to the Prime Minister of the Republic of Uzbekistan, A.N. Aripov, and the Advisor to the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, R.K.
