An expert's opinion about air pollution in Tashkent

Korean Professor Rae Kwon Chung, winner of the Nobel Prize, who came to Tashkent to participate in an international conference, said that the city's air is extremely polluted.
"Due to the large number of private cars and the toxic smoke coming out of them, the air in Tashkent is getting worse than normal. It is necessary to find a solution," he said.
During his career, Rae Kwon Chung worked as an adviser to the UN Secretary General on climate change issues, and was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize in 2017.
