Eco statistics

In 2024, 14.8 million tons of solid household waste were generated in Uzbekistan.

Of these, 900.5 thousand tons (6.1%) were processed at 292 specialized enterprises.

Every year, 600 to 700 thousand tons of paper waste is discarded in Uzbekistan. In the republic, 104 enterprises process up to 185.6 thousand tons of paper and cardboard per year.

This allows for the return of waste to the economy as secondary raw materials.
