A joint meeting of the Senate of the Oliy Majlis was held.

On November 2 this year, a joint meeting of the Senate Committee of the Oliy Majlis on the development of the Aral Sea region and ecology and the Senate Committee on science, education and health was held.

At the meeting, which was attended by members of the Senate, representatives of the Ministry of Public Education, the State Committee for Ecology and Environmental Protection, relevant ministries and departments, experts at committees, teachers, environmental specialists and journalists, information was heard from the Minister of Public Education on the work carried out within the framework of the Law "On Education" and the Concept for the Development of Environmental Education in the Republic of Uzbekistan. It was noted that in order to form and develop environmental knowledge, consciousness and culture of the younger generation, the effective organization of the environmental educational process, the further improvement of science in the field of ecology with the involvement of advanced world innovative technologies, the Concept for the Development of Environmental Education was adopted in the Republic of Uzbekistan. Within the framework of the Concept, the Ministry of Public Education, based on advanced foreign experience, developed the National Curriculum for General Secondary Education.
