Contribute to environmental projects

Have you ever noticed why there is a prohibition sign over the picture of a trash can for normal batteries? This symbol indicates that it is strictly forbidden to dispose of used batteries in waste bins. These small power sources, despite their size, cause great harm to human health and nature. The outer layer of the discarded battery melts as a result of various effects (heat, erosion) and releases toxic substances such as cadmium, mercury, nickel, zinc, tin and magnesium into the environment. One battery does enough damage to poison 20 square meters of land, 400 liters of water, two trees and one hedgehog. Toxic substances in the air and water can cause lung cancer, diseases of the digestive system and bone diseases. Although batteries make up only 0.25% of the total waste, the environmental damage from them is 50%. The outer layer of the discarded battery melts as a result of heat and releases toxic substances such as cadmium, mercury, nickel, and zinc into the environment. These metals cause great damage to the ecosystem, human health and natural resources. Eco-activist Feruzbek Sayfullayev developed the batareykalar.uz project. The purpose of this project is to collect used batteries, to install urns designed to collect them as much as possible in all regions of Uzbekistan, and to collect power sources and control their recycling.

If you also want to contribute to protecting nature from harmful toxins, collect unused batteries and accumulators and submit them through the official website www.batareykalar.uz or through the profile instagram.com/feruzbek_sayfullayev.
