Starting August 1, 2025, consumers with outstanding waste payment debts will no longer be able to pay for electricity.

Based on the Law of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated March 7, 2025, No. 1044 "On Amendments and Additions to Certain Legislative Acts of the Republic of Uzbekistan Aimed at Strengthening Payment Discipline in the Field of Waste Collection and Removal Services," a new procedure is being introduced to strengthen payment discipline for these services.

According to the document, information about outstanding subscribers will be transferred from the "Toza makon" electronic billing system of the Waste Management and Circular Economy Development Agency to the billing system of "Regional Electric Networks" JSC by the 3rd of each month.

Then, by the 5th of each month, an SMS notification will be sent to the debtor subscribers for waste removal services from the short number "2100" of "Regional Electric Networks" JSC. After receiving this notification, subscribers are given an additional 5 days to repay the debt. Existing debts must be paid during this period!
