Various unofficial reports about the increase in the cost of garbage collection services are circulating on social networks.

In order to clarify this information, we inform you that, according to the decision of the khokim of the city of Tashkent dated January 4, 2024, the amount of the mandatory payment for the removal of solid household waste is calculated per person for individuals.
It is set at 7,500 soums. Since the value-added tax (VAT) is calculated at 12 percent from April 1, 2024, this payment will be 8,400 soums.

In this regard, the State Enterprise "Maxsustrans Production Department" asks all citizens to receive information about any news or changes only through official sources, not to spread unfounded and unverified information.
