A project in the field of construction waste management will be implemented.

Following the negotiations between the khokim of the city of Tashkent and Edward Prince, Director for International Direction and Large Corporate Clients of UK Export Finance (UKEF), the signing of the project agreement is expected in the first quarter of 2026. The document covers the entire process, including the construction of infrastructure in the field of design, financing, and construction waste management in accordance with international standards.

The parties are considering the possibility of attracting British experience in the following areas:

• construction and modernization of construction waste sorting lines;
• increasing the level of processing of building materials;
• introduction of technologies for the reuse of inert fractions;
• reduction in the volume of waste disposal in landfills;
• development of "waste-free" principles in the logic of a circular economy.

The project is aimed at forming a modern, environmentally safe, and investment-attractive construction waste management system in Tashkent. It is envisaged that this system will comply with international requirements and best practices for sustainable development.
