Temporary restrictions have been imposed on the electricity payment capabilities of nearly 205,000 subscribers indebted for waste collection services

As of December 6, temporary restrictions have been imposed on the ability of 204,895 subscribers with outstanding waste collection service debts to make payments for electricity.

Prior to this, a total of 231,014 subscribers across the country were notified via SMS from the short number “2100” of “Regional Electric Grids” JSC regarding the accumulated 20.1 billion soums in receivables for waste collection services. After the notification, subscribers were granted a five-day period to settle their debts, during which payments totaling 9.4 billion soums were made. Currently, the total receivables for waste collection services nationwide amount to 18.2 billion soums.

We remind you that these restrictions will be lifted immediately once the outstanding debt is fully settled.

For reference: (07.03.2025y.) Law No. 1044 regulates payment discipline for waste collection and removal services. According to the law, information on indebted subscribers is transferred from the “Toza makon” electronic billing system to the billing system of “Regional Electric Grids” JSC by the 3rd day of each month. This procedure does not apply to debts accumulated until June 30, 2025. Starting from November 5 of the current year, it is being applied to debts accumulated for waste collection services from July 1, 2025.

Dear residents, we kindly request you to make timely payments for waste collection services.
