Temporary restrictions have been imposed on the electricity payment capabilities of nearly 205,000 subscribers indebted for waste collection services

The Agency for Waste Management and Development of the Circular Economy announces that as of today, December 11, 204,895 subscribers in the republic who have not repaid their debt for the waste service have been temporarily restricted in the ability to pay for electricity.

Previously, a total of 231,014 subscribers were notified via SMS from the short number "2100" of JSC "Regional Electric Networks" for a total of 20.1 billion soums in accounts receivable for waste services across the republic. Subsequently, subscribers were given 5 (five) days to settle their existing debt, and during this period, payments totaling 9.4 billion soums were made. Currently, there is a total of 18.2 billion soums in receivables from waste services in the republic.
We remind you that this restriction is lifted immediately after the debt is settled.

For reference: (07.03.2025y.) Law No. 1044 regulates payment discipline for waste collection and removal services. According to the law, information on indebted subscribers is transferred from the “Toza makon” electronic billing system to the billing system of “Regional Electric Grids” JSC by the 3rd day of each month. This procedure does not apply to debts accumulated until June 30, 2025. Starting from November 5 of the current year, it is being applied to debts accumulated for waste collection services from July 1, 2025.
