Official explanation

In connection with the dissemination of video materials on social networks containing allegations of corruption at waste collection sites, the State Enterprise “Maxsustrans – Production Management” issues the following official statement.

The waste collection site depicted in the video is located in the city of Chirchiq, Tashkent region, and currently belongs to a private sanitary service company. It should be noted that until 2021, this area was serviced by the State Enterprise “Maxsustrans – Production Management” on a contractual basis and was equipped with containers bearing the “Maxsustrans” label.

However, starting from January 2021, the specified territory was officially transferred to the jurisdiction of the Zangiota Obodon sanitary enterprise in accordance with established procedures. At present, the waste collection activities and sites in this area do not fall within the scope of responsibility of the State Enterprise “Maxsustrans – Production Management”.

At the same time, any situations depicted in the video, including any form of illegal activity or corruption, are strictly unacceptable at waste collection sites operated by the State Enterprise “Maxsustrans – Production Management”. The enterprise carries out its activities under strict supervision, in full compliance with applicable legislation and principles of transparency.

We kindly request that when sharing unofficial information and video materials on social networks, users provide accurate, objective and well-grounded explanations, including clear information about territorial responsibility. One-sided or incomplete information may lead to misunderstandings and the formation of unjustified public conclusions.
