Waste sorting

According to the decree of the president of the Republic of Uzbekistan No. PF-5 of January 4, 2024, the gradual Organization of the solid waste sorting system was established in 2024 — 2026. By July 1, 2024, the cities of Tashkent, Angren, Andijan, Bukhara and Termez, as well as areas with apartment buildings in the Tashkent district, are planned to collect waste by sanitary cleaning enterprises in categories. It is expected that a project will be implemented, which provides for the free distribution of the following types of special waste packages (QR-code — matrix barcode) to the population.

In this:

— for recyclable solid household waste-transparent, colorless;

— for non-recyclable solid household waste-black color;

— for food waste-Brown.
