The results of 2025 - our activities in numbers

Throughout 2025, systematic efforts were carried out in the capital to improve waste collection infrastructure, stabilize sanitary conditions, and create comfortable and safe living conditions for the population.

Within this framework, the State Enterprise “Maxsustrans – Production Department” implemented large-scale measures across the city of Tashkent to renovate, reconstruct, and modernize waste collection sites in line with modern standards.

Development of Waste Collection Infrastructure

As a result of the work carried out in 2025:

  • 12 waste collection sites were newly constructed;

  • 60 sites underwent major repairs;

  • 30 sites were dismantled and fully reconstructed;

  • current repair works were carried out at 500 sites;

  • 60 new modular waste collection sites were installed and repaired.

Currently, the following facilities operate in the city of Tashkent:

  • 1,055 waste collection sites,

  • 153 modular sites,

  • 17,362 waste containers providing services to the population.

Digitalization and Public Control

In order to strengthen discipline in waste disposal, prevent illegal dumping, and ensure public oversight:

  • 515 waste collection sites were connected to an online video surveillance system;

  • 85 specialized waste collection vehicles were equipped with online video surveillance cameras on their front and rear sides.

Transparency and Anti-Corruption Measures

In accordance with the roadmap approved by the Chairperson of the Senate of the Oliy Majlis, the General Prosecutor’s Office, and the Anti-Corruption Agency:

  • 589 waste collection sites registered in the cadastre were announced for lease to entrepreneurs through auction trading.

These measures contribute to ensuring transparency in the sector and preventing corruption-related risks.

Implementation of Renewable Energy Sources

To ensure environmental sustainability and improve energy efficiency:

  • solar panels with a capacity of 250 kW were installed at 124 waste collection sites;

  • solar panels with a total capacity of 300 kW were installed at the district branches of Mirabad, Mirzo Ulugbek, Uchtepa, as well as at waste transfer stations located in Yunusabad and Yakkasaray districts.

Material and Technical Base and Human Resources

Currently, the enterprise operates:

  • 387 specialized waste collection vehicles;

  • 1,846 employees working on a permanent basis.

In addition, in 2025:

  • 1,100 new waste containers were purchased;

  • 485 employees were provided with special work uniforms
