Detailed information about the waste disposal system!!!

According to the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan No. 95 dated February 6, 2019 "On approval of regulatory legal acts in the field of implementation of works related to waste", the procedure for the provision of services for the collection and removal of solid and liquid household waste by specialized organizations providing services in this area has been established.

In accordance with this resolution (Appendix No. 1), the "Rules for the provision of services for the collection and removal of solid and liquid household waste" have been approved.

According to the rules, sanitary and treatment enterprises provide subscribers with services for the removal of solid household waste, that is, organic and inorganic waste generated as a result of the life of individuals and the activities of legal entities.

They include waste generated as a result of natural processes on the territory and improvement objects (food, plant, wood waste, glass, rubber, paper, plastic, textiles, packaging materials, obsolete household items), garbage, as well as waste generated during the operation of household stoves and heating boilers running on solid fuel.

At the same time, the amount of solid household waste removed is not limited, and the sanitary and treatment enterprises assigned to the relevant territories are responsible for the quality of the services provided.

In addition, the minimum frequency of solid household waste removal is:

— once a day from waste collection sites located near apartment buildings;

— once every three days using the “signal” method from the private residential sector, i.e. mahallas.

It should be noted that the schedule for the removal of solid household waste is agreed upon with the local government bodies. In this case, special attention is paid to preventing the storage period of household waste from being exceeded in accordance with sanitary rules, regulations and hygienic standards.

The following types of waste are not classified as solid household waste: liquid and bulky household waste, livestock waste, construction waste, soil, waste resulting from pruning trees and shrubs, as well as agricultural processing (tree and shrub branches, leaves, residues after pruning) and sweepings (products of destruction and wear of the road surface). Their removal is carried out by service organizations for a separate fee at agreed rates.
