By November 1, 2025, the state plans to develop new waste disposal requirements for manufacturers and importers of plastic products. The new system will begin operating in 2026. According to it, the responsibility for collecting and processing plastic waste will be assigned to producers and importers or transferred to specialized waste processing enterprises. It is also planned to gradually expand the obligations of these entities. In addition, it is planned to install automated machines for receiving plastic containers and containers in large shopping centers.
