In order to ensure the implementation of the tasks defined in the Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated January 4, 2024, No. UP-5 "On measures to improve the waste management system and reduce its negative impact on the environmental situation," the "Defender of Nature's Harmony" competition is being held. No The competition is primarily aimed at worthily rewarding employees who have been working honestly, conscientiously, and selflessly in the field of sanitary cleaning and landscaping for many years. One of the priority goals of the competition is to recognize the merits of employees of sanitary cleaning enterprises directly engaged in loading, transporting, placing, and sorting waste, as well as employees of landscaping departments performing cleaning work on territories who have at least 10 years of effective and conscientious work experience.

Based on the results of the competition, the children or grandchildren of the winners admitted to state higher education institutions on a fee-and-contract basis will be reimbursed for one academic year. At the same time, the amount of compensation must not exceed 30 times the base calculated value. At the same time, students who have taken advantage of this privilege are obliged to work for at least 3 years in state bodies and organizations.

Starting September 1, applications for participation in the competition will be accepted at sanitary cleaning enterprises and landscaping departments. Applications are accepted until October 1. Responsibility for the correctness and accuracy of the information submitted for participation in the competition is assigned to the head of the organization that submitted the relevant documents. In this regard, all information regarding candidates must be presented accurately, fully, reliably, and in the prescribed manner.
