Following negotiations between the Khokim of Tashkent and Edward Prince, Director for Work with Large Corporate Clients and the International Sector of UK Export Finance (UKEF), it is planned to sign a project agreement in the first quarter of 2026. The document will cover a full cycle - design according to international standards, financing and construction of infrastructure in the field of construction waste management. The parties are discussing the involvement of British competence in the following areas:

• creation and modernization of construction waste sorting lines; increasing the level of recycling of construction materials; introducing technologies for the reuse of inert fractions; reducing landfill disposal volumes; developing "zero waste" principles in the context of a circular economy.

The project is designed to form a modern, environmentally safe, and investment-attractive construction waste management system in Tashkent that meets international requirements and best practices for sustainable development.
