Those who throw garbage will be punished.

From August 1, 2025,  In order to protect nature, the amount of fines for certain offenses has been increased.

Waste disposal in unauthorized places - from 412,000 to 1,236,000 soums;

Burning branches or plant debris - 1,236,000 - 2,060,000 soums;

Water pollution - 1,236,000 - 2,060,000 soums;

Illegal felling/damage to trees, shrubs, and seedlings - 10,300,000 - 20,600,000 soums;

Violation of atmospheric protection requirements in construction - 4,120,000 soums;

Keeping prohibited wild animals - 2,060,000 - 4,120,000 soums (animals are confiscated); Failure to take measures to restore the natural environment - 412,000 - 1,236,000 soums;

Obstruction of the activities of an environmental inspector - 2,060,000 - 4,120,000 soums.

Also, according to the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers No. 464, the damage caused to nature in cases of felling or damaging a healthy tree is calculated.
