Residents of Uzbekistan will rest for 3 days in connection with May 9 - the Day of Remembrance and Honor. This was reported by the Ministry of Employment and Poverty Reduction. The following days off have been established:

▪️ May 9 (Friday) - Day of Remembrance and Honor (a holiday);
May 10 (Saturday) — a day off for employees with a 5-day work week, a working day for those working a 6-day week;
May 11 (Sunday) is a day off.

This date holds a special significance in the country's history. The Day of Remembrance and Honor is a day of respect and gratitude to ancestors who sacrificed their lives for the peace and freedom of the Motherland, as well as a day to honor their courage and heroism.
