In accordance with the instructions of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan given at the videoconference held on July 16 of this year, within the framework of the "Month of Improvement and Kindness in Mahallas" and "Actual 40 Days" events, existing sanitary problems in the capital are being systematically studied and necessary measures are being taken to eliminate them. Specifically, on the social network Facebook, citizen Nikita Lemeshenko appealed regarding the accumulation of garbage and cut branches near house No. 8 in the "Shirin" neighborhood of the Uchtepa district (26th block) and requested practical assistance in clearing the area.
This appeal was promptly reviewed by specialists from the "Maxsustrans" State Unitary Enterprise. During the inspection, it was established that for a long time, garbage and cut branches collected by the "Uchtepa – Shirin" Management Service Company had been exported to the specified territory. Following this, clearing operations were organized immediately. With the involvement of 5 units of special equipment, approximately 40–50 tons of waste were removed and completely disposed of, resulting in the full restoration of the area's sanitary condition.
The "Maxsustrans" State Unitary Enterprise continues to monitor citizens' appeals on a permanent basis and, in cooperation with relevant organizations, is consistently working to improve the sanitary condition of the city territory and prevent the formation of unauthorized landfills. We express our gratitude to citizens for their active civic stance, careful attitude toward the environment, compliance with waste management rules, and assistance in preventing unauthorized waste accumulation.
