The Waste Management and Circular Economy Development Agency reports that as of December 11, 204,895 subscribers whose debts for waste removal services have not been settled are temporarily restricted in their ability to pay for electricity. Previously, 231,014 subscribers across the republic were notified via SMS via the short number "2100" of "Hududiy Elektr Tarmoqlari" JSC regarding the existence of a total accounts receivable of 20.1 billion soums for waste collection services. Following the notification, subscribers were given 5 days to settle the debt, during which 9.4 billion soums were paid. Currently, 18.2 billion soums of accounts receivable for waste removal services remain across the republic.
We remind you that the specified restriction will be lifted immediately after the debt is fully repaid. For information: Law No. 1044 regulates payment discipline for waste collection and removal services. According to it, until the 3rd day of each month, information about debtors is transferred from the electronic billing system of the "Toza Makon" Agency to the billing system of "Hududiy Elektr Tarmoqlari" JSC. This procedure does not apply to debts accumulated before June 30, 2025. Starting July 1, 2025, debts for waste collection services will be accounted for, and the specified procedure will be applied starting November 5 of this year.
It was previously reported that starting January 1, 2026, payments for waste management services will be made only online for the services actually rendered. Dear citizens!
