On May 15, 2025, the Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan "On approval of the Concept for increasing the environmental culture of the population for the period up to 2030" was adopted.

Within the framework of the Concept, measures are provided for: increasing the environmental literacy of the population; forming a culture of separate waste collection; rational use of natural resources; expanding citizens' participation in environmental actions and initiatives; raising environmental awareness among children and youth; and promoting the principles of the "green economy" and sustainable development.

Particular attention will be paid to the development of environmental education, strengthening public control over the state of the environment, and supporting initiatives aimed at nature conservation. The implementation of the Concept will increase the level of environmental culture among the population, improve the environmental situation in the country, and create favorable conditions for future generations.
