The Surveillance Cameras Use and Control Department under the Waste Management and Circular Economy Development Agency identified 1,117 violations of rules related to waste disposal in undesignated areas across the republic during July and August 2026. Of these, 90 violations were committed by vehicles, and 730 by citizens. Administrative protocols have been drawn up against the violators, and appropriate measures are being taken. At the same time, the share of individuals held accountable for violations identified through surveillance cameras was 27 percent, and the total amount of fines imposed reached 554.6 million soums.

For reference: more than 700 online surveillance cameras have been installed in almost all regions of the republic. They allow for the identification of not only waste emissions but also other types of environmental offenses and the implementation of appropriate measures.
