At the 4th plenary session of the Senate of the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the Law "On Amendments and Additions to Certain Legislative Acts of the Republic of Uzbekistan Aimed at Strengthening Payment Discipline in the Sphere of Waste Collection and Removal Services" was considered.

The law was developed to increase the efficiency of the waste management system, ensure timely payment for waste collection and removal services, and improve the mechanisms for interaction between utility providers and consumers. During the meeting, it was noted that strengthening payment discipline will improve the quality of services provided, ensure the stable operation of sanitary cleaning organizations, and create additional opportunities for the modernization of the industry.

Particular attention was paid to increasing the responsibility of consumers for timely payment for services, which is an important condition for maintaining the sanitary well-being of settlements and improving the environmental situation. The adoption of this law will contribute to the further development of a modern waste management system, improve the quality of communal services, and ensure cleanliness and environmental safety in the country.
