However, there were also those who did not pay for two or three years. The reason was simple: the waste collection service could not be suspended individually for a specific consumer. Now this problem has found a legislative solution. In accordance with the Law aimed at strengthening payment discipline in the field of waste collection and disposal services, if the debt for these services is not settled within 5 days after notification, the acceptance of electricity payments will be temporarily restricted until the debt is fully repaid.

As a result of late payment, citizens may face serious inconveniences related to the inability to make payments for consumed electricity. This practice is also applied in many developed countries worldwide, where timely payment for utility services is an integral part of civic responsibility. In fact, there is no need to wait for any enforcement measures to be applied.
