Tomorrow, February 26, Uzbekistan will host another environmental campaign titled "A Day Without a Car," aimed at reducing the negative impact of transport on the environment and promoting environmentally friendly modes of transportation. The campaign is conducted in accordance with the Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan No. 37 dated February 21, 2024, and is organized every fourth Wednesday of the month.

The main goal of the event is to improve the environmental situation, reduce emissions of harmful substances into the atmosphere, reduce noise levels in cities, and foster a culture of careful treatment of the environment. On this day, heads and employees of state organizations, as well as all residents of the country, are advised to refrain from using personal vehicles as much as possible and to prefer public transport, bicycles, walking, and other environmentally safe modes of transportation.
