There are only 228 landfills in Uzbekistan. 210 of them have been transferred to the directorate's balance sheet. Of these 210 landfills, 185 are intended for household waste and are classified as follows: 132 operating, 6 newly established, 5 temporarily suspended, and 42 completely closed.
