Employees of the responsible services are constantly conducting activities to maintain sanitary order, landscaping, and ensuring cleanliness within the capital's territory. At the same time, cases of dumping household and construction waste in undesignated locations continue to be identified, which negatively affects the environmental situation and the appearance of the city. To date, 808 administrative protocols have been drawn up in Tashkent under Article 161 of the Code of Administrative Responsibility of the Republic of Uzbekistan for violations related to the disposal of waste in unauthorized places.
Including:
772 cases - repeated violations ranging from 3 to 7 times;
26 cases - repeated violations ranging from 8 to 12 times;
▪️ 10 случаев — повторное нарушение от 13 до 23 раз.
The highest number of offenses was recorded in the Almazar, Uchtepa, and Yunusabad districts, where the highest rates of repeat offenses are also noted. It should be noted that the unauthorized dumping of waste leads to the formation of spontaneous landfills, the deterioration of the sanitary and epidemiological situation, environmental pollution, and additional costs for cleaning territories. Dear residents of the capital! Compliance with waste management rules is not only a requirement of legislation but also a manifestation of responsibility toward society, the environment, and future generations.
