Today, a meeting titled "Constitutional and Legal Foundations of Environmental Relations" was held in the Legislative Chamber of the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan. During the event, topical issues regarding increasing the environmental culture of the population, fostering a responsible attitude toward the environment, and implementing environmental education into the education system were reviewed. Participants paid special attention to the teaching of environmental and environmental-pedagogical disciplines in educational institutions aimed at fostering a careful attitude toward nature and natural resources in the younger generation.

The discussion was attended by I. Sagdullayev, Advisor to the Head of the "Maxsustrans" State Unitary Enterprise, who presented several proposals and initiatives on the topic under consideration. In his speech, he emphasized the importance of further developing environmental education, increasing the level of environmental responsibility among citizens, and strengthening interaction between state bodies, educational institutions, and the public in environmental protection issues. The meeting participants noted that the formation of environmental consciousness and culture is one of the most important tasks of modern society and plays a key role in ensuring environmental safety and sustainable development of the country.
