In accordance with the instructions of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan on the implementation of modern projects based on waste recycling and obtaining energy sources from them, an agreement on the supply of waste was signed between the Director of the Agency for Waste Management and Circular Economy Development and the head of the company "Beijing China Science Runyu Environmental Technology (CSET) " of the People's Republic of China.

Within the framework of the project, foreign partners plan to invest 80 million US dollars in foreign direct investment, with the enterprise operating for 30 years. The project is capable of processing 274,000 tons of solid household waste per year, resulting in the generation of 80 million kWh of electricity. Once the project is fully commissioned, 100 new jobs will be created in the region.
