Hyundai HD-310 Short Heavy Truck
Type of vehicle: The Hyundai HD-310 Short heavy-duty truck, designed for waste collection and transportation, is used to compact and transport solid household waste collected at waste transfer and disposal branches in the Yunusabad, Yashnabad, and Yakkasaray districts to the city landfill. The green-colored special equipment installed on top is a "Multilift" (Hook Lift) type hydraulic system, as well as a press container (mobile compactor) attached to it.
1. Passport and technical characteristics of the system:
Manufacturing country: South Korea
Wheel formula: 8×4 (2 front controlled axles and 2 rear driving axles)
Compact version (Short): shortened base compared to the standard version, which significantly facilitates maneuverability in urban conditions and narrow spaces
Engine type: turbo diesel (most commonly D6AC or D6CA engines)
Engine power: 340–380 horsepower
Fuel tank: 200-400 liters
Transmission (CPP): mechanical (ZF, 6 or more stages)
Total weight (GVW): approximately 31–33 tons
2. Upper hydraulic system (Multilift / Hook Lift)
The hydraulic system with a hook mechanism, installed on the truck frame, allows for the independent lowering of the container to the ground, loading it back, and unloading it using a dump truck principle.
Cargo capacity: up to 20–26 tons (traction force required to load the container)
Control type: control from the driver's cab using a pneumatic/electronic remote control or from the outside using hydraulic levers
3. Press container (the green "barrel" in the photo is a mobile compactor)
The green device with the number 48 shown in the photo is not an ordinary container, but a biocompactor (press container). It collects waste inside itself and significantly reduces its volume using an internal press plate.
Sealing system: internal hydraulic press plate (piston)
Volume: from 20 to 27 m3
Purpose: due to the compaction of waste, one container holds 3-5 times more waste compared to conventional containers, which allows for a reduction in transportation costs to the Akhangaran landfill.
