Today, a working group led by A. Tuychiev, Chairman of the Senate Committee on Agrarian, Water Resources, and Ecology, reviewed the activities of the State Unitary Enterprise "Maxsustrans Production Management." During the study, with the participation of the department's chief inspector, I. Sagdullayev, an exchange of views took place regarding the organization of solid waste collection and removal, the state of existing infrastructure, the enterprise's material and technical base, as well as the quality of sanitary cleaning services provided to the population. Specifically, representatives of the working group familiarized themselves with the current state of the Yakkasaray waste transfer station, as well as the waste site No18 in Sergeli district.

During the visit to the facilities, issues regarding the organization of production processes, the timely collection and removal of waste, compliance with sanitary and environmental requirements, the technical condition of equipment and containers, and the efficiency of using existing production capacities were reviewed. Particular attention was paid to the further development of the enterprise's material and technical base. In particular, the need to gradually update the fleet of specialized machinery and containers, modernize the infrastructure of waste transfer stations, introduce modern control and accounting technologies, and improve the quality and efficiency of services provided to the population was discussed.

Additionally, during the discussion, issues regarding the economic sustainability of the household waste disposal system were considered. The need to improve current tariffs was noted, taking into account the actual cost of services, expenditures on fuel and lubricants, spare parts, labor remuneration, technical maintenance and operation of specialized equipment, as well as changes in prices for basic production resources. Following the study, the parties discussed existing problematic issues in the system and possible ways to resolve them. An agreement was reached to prepare and submit relevant proposals to the Senate of the Oliy Majlis aimed at improving the waste management system, strengthening the material and technical base of enterprises, improving the quality of sanitary cleaning services, and ensuring the sustainable development of the industry.

In accordance with the schedule for the on-site reception of citizens, the management of the "PU Makhsustrans" State Unitary Enterprise will conduct another on-site reception of citizens. The event is aimed at reviewing residents' appeals, studying their concerns, and taking appropriate measures to resolve them.

In order to comprehensively review citizens' appeals and study emerging issues directly on-site, responsible employees conducted an on-site study of a repeated appeal from a resident of the Yunusabad district regarding their debt for household waste collection services. During the study, information related to the existing debt was verified by specialists, and the citizen was provided with the necessary explanations regarding the matter.

Responsible employees provided a detailed explanation of the debt formation procedure and provided information in accordance with the available data. Following the investigation, the citizen stated that he had received the necessary clarifications and had no additional questions or claims regarding this matter. A corresponding act was drawn up in accordance with the established procedure based on the results of the outing. Work in this direction continues on a permanent basis.

In Uzbekistan, measures are being consistently taken to improve the waste management system, expand waste processing, and introduce modern technologies for generating electricity from household waste. The President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev, was presented with investment projects aimed at further developing the industry, increasing waste processing efficiency, and introducing modern environmentally friendly technologies. In 2026–2027, it is planned to implement 6 major projects jointly with Chinese companies. Their total value is $933 million. The enterprises will be built in Kashkadarya, Samarkand, Tashkent, Andijan, Fergana and Namangan regions.

Once the enterprises reach full capacity, it is planned to process approximately 3.6 million tons of household waste annually and produce 1.6 billion kWh of electricity. In addition, 5 more projects worth $625 million are planned to be implemented in Karakalpakstan, Jizzakh, Surkhandarya, Bukhara and Khorezm regions. They will be able to process up to 1.9 million tons of waste per year and generate about 635 million kWh of electricity. The implementation of these projects will create 500 new jobs, save up to 158 million cubic meters of natural gas, and reduce greenhouse gas emissions by approximately 316 thousand tons per year.

Thus, it is planned to implement a total of 11 projects in the field of waste energy utilization. Their implementation will be an important step in forming a modern waste management system, expanding recycling, and ensuring the rational use of resources. Special attention is paid to increasing the level of localization, training qualified personnel, and introducing modern technologies. In cooperation with Green University, Samarkand State University, and Karshi State University, it is planned to form a personnel reserve of 1,000 specialists for the industry.

Following the review of the projects, the President gave relevant instructions to accelerate their implementation, further develop waste processing, increase localization, and train qualified specialists. The implementation of these initiatives will contribute to increasing environmental safety, reducing the volume of waste sent for disposal, and developing "green" energy in the country.

In order to further develop reading culture, increase public interest in literature, and organize meaningful leisure time, several important initiatives are being implemented in the country. In particular, the tradition of reading books during non-working hours is gradually being introduced among the enterprise employees, which allows for not only the meaningful spending of free time but also the expansion of one's horizons, increasing one's level of knowledge, and developing analytical thinking. The book contributes to expanding one's worldview, enriching one's inner world, and forming new knowledge and skills.
